Welcome to the Ellon and District Branch of Cats Protection.

Our branch was formed in 1991 and run entirely by a small group of volunteers committed to rescuing, neutering and re-homing unwanted and stray cats and kittens.

We cover quite a large geographical area from just south of New Deer in the north, to Potterton in the south and from just east of Oldmeldrum in the west, over to the east coast. This includes Balmedie, Newburgh, Hatton, Cruden Bay, Tarves and Methlick
